Going from one wild boy in his 2's, immediately into another wild boy in his 2's with no break just may be my demise.
I am drained and am just praying to make it through the rest of the day...much less the weekend, much less the month, much less the year.
My nerves are shot.
I am emotionally and mentally over-exhausted.
praying for you! We love you and can't wait to see you. Yall just need to hurry to the lake and there will be extra hands! :)
ReplyDeleteCaroline- I am going to say an extra prayer for you tonight. I know I have felt that way and I appreciate your honesty. Hang in there.
ReplyDeleteYour honesty is so refreshing. It's tough raising two little ones! Plus, you have two HUGE dogs to take care of as well. When I am having a "lord give me strength moment", I think ahead to when I'm 80 - old and lonely. I'll look back on these tough toddler years as the glory years - when there is truly never a dull moment and the house is filled with chaos! I'll be praying for you - for your inner strength and patience.
ReplyDeleteFocus on our "New Moon" date this afternoon! It'll be just the break you need:) Can't wait!
ReplyDeleteLove you Caro! You are the best mom in the world and those are some lucky boys. Hang in there. You are an inspiration to the rest of us tired moms.
ReplyDeleteCaroline, I came across your blog through someone else's. I can't imagine having 2 rambunctious boys at those ages! You will make it. And you'll be laughing at those of us waking up with babies in the middle of the night when yours are off at college and you and Kyle are retired and traveling the world! I tell Ruth the same thing. This is Molly Martin, by the way.
